Senator Robbins, Representative Stevenson Announce
$199,386 Grove City Airport Grant
Harrisburg – State Senator Bob Robbins (R-50) and
Representative Dick Stevenson (R-8) today announced the awarding of a
$199,386 grant to help Grove City Airport pay for an important runway
improvement project.
The lawmakers said the grant would help pay for the second phase of
work to remove trees obstructing runway 10-28.
"This is an important project for Grove City Airport and I am
pleased to be able to announce this significant financial
assistance," said Robbins.
"Grove City Airport is a key component of our local
transportation system. This project will help the airport
improve safety and efficiency," said Stevenson.
The grant includes state and federal funds, and was awarded through
the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's Block Grant and
Aviation Development programs.
