Robbins Announces Greenwood Township Sewage Treatment Grant

Harrisburg – State Senator Bob Robbins (R-50) today announced the awarding of a state sewage treatment grant to Greenwood Township, Crawford County.

Robbins said that the Township has been awarded $2,432 through the state Sewage Facilities Enforcement Grant Program. The funds will be used to reimburse the Township for 50 percent of the eligible expenses of enforcing state sewage standards.

"Our municipalities spend a great deal of money to meet state requirements on sewage treatment, and it is important that state tax dollars are returned to the communities such as Greenwood to help cover those costs," said Robbins.
