FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Robbins Announces Spring Township Sewage Treatment GrantHarrisburg – State Senator Bob Robbins today announced the awarding of a state sewage treatment grant to Spring Township in Crawford County. Robbins said the township has been awarded $1,225 through the state Sewage Facilities Enforcement Grants Program. The funds will be used to reimburse the township for 50 percent of the eligible expenses of enforcing state sewage standards. "The state places a great number of mandates on our municipalities, and sewage treatment standards are among them," said Robbins. "It is important that with those mandates comes the financial assistance to help communities such as Spring Township meet them."
