FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Robbins Announces $195,000 Loan for Job Creation in Meadville AreaHarrisburg – State Senator Bob Robbins (R-50) today announced the approval of a $195,000 state loan that will allow a water bottler to expand and create jobs in the Meadville Area. Robbins said Aristocrat Spring Water will use the loan to acquire a 19,200-square-foot building on Grant Street in Saegertown. The company bottles and distributes spring and distilled water. The project will create 11 new jobs and retain 14 jobs, the senator said. "We have to be aggressive in pursuing economic development and job creation in Crawford County, and this loan is a good investment," said Robbins. "Employers can know that this is an excellent area to locate and expand a business." The loan was approved by the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority. PIDA provides low-interest loans through local industrial development corporations for land and building acquisition and construction or renovation. It targets manufacturers, industrial developers, research and development firms, agricultural processors and employers establishing national or regional headquarters.
