MEDIA ADVISORY

Agriculture Committee to visit Mercer County

The Senate Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, chaired by Senator Michael W. Brubaker, will visit Mercer County on Monday (May 14) to hear from local residents and farmers, according to Senator Bob Robbins.

The special "Listening Session" by the Committee is set for 1 to 3 p.m. at the Mercer County Conservation District office at 747 Greenville Road, Mercer.

"I strongly urge local residents, especially farmers and those living in rural areas, to come out and share their concerns and comments with the Committee. This is their chance to talk directly with the Committee that considers regulations and legislation that affects their lives and their livelihoods," Senator Robbins said.
