Senator Robbins to Host Student Government Forum

Students from a number of secondary schools across the 50th Senatorial District will get a first hand look at legislative and state government operations during a seminar hosted by state Senator Bob Robbins (R-50).

More than 100 students from 15 local schools are expected to participate in Senator Robbins' Student Government Seminar which will take place on Friday, October 12, in the Howard Miller Student Center at Thiel College beginning at 8:30 a.m.

Senator Robbins will be joined at the event by state Representatives Michele Brooks (R-17) and John Evans (R-5)

"Students will have the opportunity to see how state government works," Senator Robbins said. "The attendees will interact with students from other high schools while developing and voting on legislation as they serve as members of the General Assembly."
