Titusville Receives Recycling Grant

Will receive $4,593 "Reward for Performance"

The City of Titusville, Crawford County, will receive a $4,593 Recycling Performance Grant from the state Department of Environmental Protection, according to Senator Bob Robbins (R-50).

The grant is based on the 422.9 tons recycled and Titusville's overall population during 2005, Senator Robbins said.

"This grant shows that recycling is working in Titusville. It rewards the community for its efforts and shows that recycling does pay off, both in preserving our environment and in funds from the state," Senator Robbins said. "This grant is a tribute to the recycling efforts of its residents and businesses."
