June 16, 2006 - The Mercer County Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans successfully submitted 3 Mercer County deserving nominees for state recognition. Receiving their awards at the DAV State Convention in Carlisle, Pa were employees of Keystone Blind Assoc., "Large Employer of the Year," Senator Bob Robbins, "Commanders Special Award For Lifetime Dedication Supporting Veterans' Advocacy:" and Gary Solander, "Outstanding Disabled Veteran of the Year."
