November 28, 2006 - Harrisburg – Senator Bob Robbins (R-50) was recently recognized by the United States Army during their "Freedom Team Salute" for his past military service as a Vietnam War veteran and his strong leadership in the Pennsylvania Senate for the men and women who are currently serving in the Armed Forces of the United States.

November 2, 2006 - NEW WILMINGTON - Senator Robbins stands with Westminster College President Tom Williamson. Sen. Robbins commended Westminster College for establishing the Patriots' Scholarship, which will provide full tuition for a four-year undergraduate degree at Westminster College for the dependent children of U.S. military personnel who were killed in action in Afghanistan or Iraq.
