2006 – Erie, PA – Senator Bob Robbins, speaking
at the presentation of a $2.5 million state
grant from the Commonwealth for the construction
of a 44-bed Dementia/Alzheimer's unit at the
Pennsylvania Soldiers' and Sailors' Home in
Erie.
Senator
Robbins joined Pennsylvania's Adjutant General,
Jessica L. Wright and other local legislators,
veterans and dignitaries for the presentation.
The PA Soldiers' and Sailors' Home currently has
175 beds for nursing and domiciliary care, The
DMVA also operates state veterans homes in
Hollidaysburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh,
Scranton and Spring City.
