July 20, 2006 - GREENVILLE, PA - Sen. Robbins (R-50) and
Sen. Joe Scarnati (R-25), Chairman of the Senate Republican
Policy Committee, participated in a hearing held a Thiel
College. The hearing -- which featured testimony of area
leaders -- focused on the business climate, agricultural,
and law enforcement issues. |

July 18, 2006 - HARRISBURG, PA - Sen. Robbins (R-50)
participated in the unveiling of the Mentored Youth Hunting
Program by the Pennsylvania Game Commission and the
"Mentored Youth Hunting Coalition." The new program provide
youth with a hands-on opportunity to be a part of a
hunting-like experience in a responsible manner -- under the
supervision of a licensed and experienced hunter. Carl Roe,
Executive Director of the PA Game Commission presented
Senator Robbins a citation for his work on passage of this
legislation (Act 86 of 2005). The Mentored Youth Hunting
Coalition is comprised of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters "Pass
It On" Program; the Central Counties Concerned Sportsmen,
the NRA, the National Wild Turkey Federation, the Outdoor
Writers Association of America, the PA Federation of
Sportsmen's Club, the PA Outdoor Writers Association, the
Quality Deer Management Association, United Bowhunters, and
the U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance. |

July 16, 2006 - Sen. Robbins participated in the Civil
Air Patrol's Search and Rescue School for adult officers and
cadets at Hawk Mountain. This year is the 50th Anniversary
of the Civil Air Patrol's Hawk Mountain Ranger School.
Senator Robbins -- who is a Lt. Colonel in the Civil Air
Patrol's Legislative Squadron -- assists Major General Tony
Pineda -- with the promotion of Herb Cahalen to Lt. Colonel.
Additionally, Senator Robbins presented a citation to Lt.
Colonel Cahalen designating Civil Air Patrol Cadet Week in
Pennsylvania. |

July 12, 2006 - HARRISBURG, PA - Sen.
Robbins (R-50) presented a copy of Senate Resolution 284 to
Janette Kearney, the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania
Emergency Health Services Council (PEHSC). The Senate
Resolution designated the week of May 14th through 20th, as
"Emergency Medical Services Week in Pennsylvania" as well as
May 14th as "Military EMS Personnel Day," and May 20th as
"EMS Personnel Day." |
