June 21, 2006 - HARRISBURG, PA - Senator
Bob Robbins (R-50) presented a copy of Senate Resolution 313
(Civil Air Patrol Cadet Week in Pennsylvania) to Cadet Lt.
Colonel Allen Mankins, Cadet Lt. Colonel Victoria Lesisco ,
and Captain Kelly Lesisko. The Cadet Leadership School of
the Pennsylvania Wing runs from June 17 through 23, 2006, at
the Fort Indiantown Gap National Guard Training Site in
Lebanon County. Sen. Robbins is a Lt. Colonel in the
Legislative Squadron of the Pennsylvania Wing of the Civil
Air Patrol. |

June 20, 2006 - HARRISBURG, PA - Senator Bob Robbins
(R-50) met with Paul Czarnecki (left), President of the
Pennsylvania Taxidermist Association, and Dan Snyder of
Otter Creek Taxidermy, based in Greenville. They met in
regard to legislation sponsored by Rep. Rod Wilt affecting
taxidermists.

June 20, 2006 - HARRISBURG, PA - Senator
Bob Robbins (R-50) recently greeted John Kurtz of Grove
City, who was attending the Pennsylvania Keystone Boys
State. Keystone Boys State is an annual program sponsored
by the Pennsylvania Department of the American Legion to
help young men learn about state government. As part of the
program, participants took the time to visit their local
legislators at the state capitol building. |

June 20, 2006 - HARRISBURG, PA - Joining
Senator Bob Robbins (R-50) in the Pennsylvania Senate
Chamber are (left) Angela Miller from Mercer and (right)
Laura Koller of Titusville. Angela and Laura recently
attended the Pennsylvania Keystone Girls State. Keystone
Girls State is an annual program sponsored by the American
Legion Ladies Auxiliary and is designed to help girls learn
about state government. As part of the program, participants
took the time to visit with their local legislators at the
state capitol building. In addition to participating in the
Keystone Girls State, Laura is also the First Place Winner
of the Pennsylvania American Legion 2006 High School
Oratorical Contest. |

June 16, 2006 - The Mercer County Chapter of the Disabled American
Veterans successfully submitted 3 Mercer County deserving nominees for state recognition.
Receiving their awards at the DAV State Convention in Carlisle, Pa were employees of
Keystone Blind Assoc., "Large Employer of the Year," Senator Bob Robbins,
"Commanders Special Award For Lifetime Dedication Supporting Veterans' Advocacy:"
and Gary Solander, "Outstanding Disabled Veteran of the Year."

HARRISBURG, PA - Senator Bob Robbins
(R-50) (center) was recently joined by NASCAR drivers Bobby
Labonte (right) and Elliott Sadler (left) at the
Pennsylvania state capitol. Bobby Labonte , the former
NASCAR Cup Series champion and Elliott Sadler joined a list
of NASCAR drivers for Pennsylvania NASCAR DAY at the
capitol. More than a dozen show cars representing various
Nextel Cup racing teams were on display on the capitol
grounds and the drivers were honored by both the House and
Senate. |
