April 30, 2008 - Harrisburg – Senator Bob Robbins (R-50), Vice Chairman of the Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, joined family members of Pennsylvania's National Guard, the Adjutant General, Major General Jessica Wright and other legislators in the rotunda of the capitol building for the signing of the National Guard Family Covenant. The Covenant represents a commitment to the thousands of National Guard families across the Commonwealth. It formally recognizes the sacrifices made on the home front while families' loved ones are at war and/or serving around the world. Joining Senator Robbins (far left) at the table to sign the Covenant is Representative Jerry Nailor from Cumberland County and Senator Lisa Baker, Chairman of the Senate Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee.
