May 13, 2008 - Senator Bob Robbins (R-50), pictured center, was honored recently at the Pennsylvania State Capitol Building by representatives of the Pennsylvania Fraternal Congress with the Keystone Fraternal Legislative Award for his distinguished service to the Commonwealth. Most fraternal benefit societies were formed more than 100 years ago to assist immigrants in America. Today, the fraternal benefit system is a charitable force of nearly 200 individual non-profit benefit societies touching millions of lives throughout the United States. The Pennsylvania Fraternal Congress is the largest Fraternal Congress in the United States. |
